Subject to contract award, Serco Defence is expanding operations, with future opportunities emerging to manage and maintain key military training facilities throughout Belgium.

We are currently researching solutions that are designed to improve operational readiness by delivering high-quality services across advanced training installations, focused on the following areas;

• Management & Operations: Overseeing execution, compliance, and service quality.
• Technical & Engineering: Maintaining and optimizing training equipment.
• Simulation & Training: Supporting personnel in using advanced technologies.
• IT & Logistics: Managing infrastructure, cybersecurity, planning, and support.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee logistical support for military training facilities, ensuring timely availability of equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Cooperate with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth planning, transportation, and delivery of logistics operations.
• Monitor inventory levels, track assets, and manage procurement needs in line with operational demands.
• Assist in planning and scheduling training support logistics, including transport of simulation systems and materials.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security regulations across logistics processes.
• Support the setup, relocation, and maintenance of equipment and resources at various training sites.
• Maintain clear documentation and reporting for logistics activities, using relevant tools and systems.

Successful Candidate

• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination, preferably in a technical, defence, or training environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
• Good understanding of logistics systems, asset tracking, and stock control procedures.
• Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with frequent coordination between teams.
• Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong asset.
• Basic technical affinity to understand and handle logistical requirements of equipment-based training support.
